Wizz Air deceived passengers. Flights to the UAE are being suspended not from September 1, but from August 25.

Wizz Air airline had previously announced that it would suspend flights to the United Arab Emirates starting September 1. However, passengers are now being informed at airports that flights are being suspended as of August 25. This move leaves people facing the reality that they had already purchased tickets and made their travel plans.

The airline does not refund the money to passengers' accounts; it is only kept in the app as virtual credit. This means that passengers cannot use that money to buy tickets from other airlines. Moreover, there are practically no alternatives to the United Arab Emirates route.

Those who had purchased both departure and return tickets are in the most difficult situation. For them, the return journey is a new financial burden; they are forced to spend money again and buy tickets from Air Arabia or Fly Dubai, which have already sharply increased in price.

Passengers are only informed of the change at the last minute, just the day before the flight, when they are ready to travel. The phones of travel companies and operators are literally exploding with dissatisfied and desperate calls.

Up to this moment, Wizz Air has not issued any official clarification. Passengers only receive notifications from the app, realizing that the company has violated its own promises and seriously damaged their trust.

This is being announced by passengers gathered at the airports. The information has been confirmed by Wizz Air representatives at Zvartnots Airport.
