International Mother Earth Day. Idram&IDBank

Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22 all over the world.

The main goal of this day is to highlight problems among different regions over the world and to suggest solutions. ''Our Planet, Our Power'' is the theme of this year.

                By emphasizing sustainable development and establishing environmental protection as a key focus in their social responsibility policy, Idram and IDBank have made significant contributions to the preservation and restoration Armenia's natural environment over the years, implementing a number of environmental programs.

·         In March-April 2022, the entire amount accumulated by ''The Power of One Dram'' - 10.757.867 AMD was directed to the program of forest renovation of the ''My Forest Armenia'' NGO, 20,000 trees were planted as a result, the first of which were planted with the direct participation of the company’s employees themselves.

·         In 2024, within the framework of ''The Power of One Dram'' 4.479.792 AMD was donated to the “Armenia Tree Project’’ charitable foundation, thanks to which seedlings grown in pre-built nurseries were purchased and used for afforestation purposes.

·         In 2025, Idram and IDBank, together with My Forest Armenia and the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, signed a joint memorandum of cooperation within the framework of the “Symphonic Forest” project. As a result, the organization received 9,395,038 AMD in support, provided in two stages during 2025 and 2026, enabling the planting of 20,000 trees.

·         At the same time, within the framework of the project implemented jointly with the “My Forest Armenia” NGO and the Union of Banks of Armenia, 13,889 trees have been planted since 2025, and an additional 8,350 trees are planned to be planted by 2027.

·         In 2025, IDBank donated 5.174.990 AMD to the “AI4Biodiversity” hackathon, contributing to the preservation of biodiversity and overcoming local and international problems.

·         In 2025, by joining the Hayastan All Armenian Fund, IDBank donated 8 million AMD for the reconstruction of the Spandaryan Canal in Syunik Province.  

                Protecting the environment is a key pillar of Idram and IDBank’s social responsibility strategy, and the companies will continue to carry out impactful initiatives and effective programs for the public good.
