AraratBank’s Unwavering Commitment: 5 Years, 172 Beneficiaries, and over 100 Projects

Years ago, when AraratBank joined the initiative aimed at supporting the education of students who had served as defenders of our homeland, it was difficult to foresee that cooperation established with the 4090 Charity Foundation would evolve into a strategic partnership dedicated to ensuring the continuous education of veterans of the 4-day and 44-day wars.

Today, the Foundation’s beneficiaries have not only regained a sense of purpose, but are also actively engaged across various social and professional spheres, contributing their knowledge and expertise to the development of our country.

Since the inception of the partnership, AraratBank has provided financial support totaling around AMD 40 million.

However, behind these figures lie real stories - restored lives, impactful charitable initiatives and programs that have helped people get back on their feet, among which are: the "Menq u Munq" Armenian jazz and chess evening, the "Symphonic Mansuryan," "Aznavour 100," and "History and Jazz" charity concerts, charitable ascents to Mount Aragats and Mount Aghavno, the "What?, Where?, When?" intellectual charity tournaments, and the "Women for Education" charity breakfasts.

Over the five years of its activities, the Foundation has supported 172 beneficiaries and implemented more than 100 projects.

The collaboration between AraratBank and the 4090 Charity Foundation has undoubtedly served its purpose and fulfilled the Foundation’s mission - to improve the quality of life of war veterans through education.

The AMD 12,500,000 raised through the closing event has been allocated toward covering tuition fees for the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.

Over the past five years, the programs implemented have, above all, served a single purpose - to help beneficiaries, through education, believe in themselves and rediscover the strength to move forward,” said Mher Ananyan, Chairman of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer at AraratBank.
