Amundi-Acba Asset Management and Yerevan State University sign cooperation agreement

Amundi-Acba Asset Management CJSC and the Yerevan State University Foundation have signed an agreement aimed at promoting financial literacy among university students.

Within the framework of the agreement, Amundi-Acba will provide Yerevan State University students with access to the courses of the Amundi-Acba Academy over a three-year period.

As a socially responsible organization, Amundi-Acba highly values the role of education in the country’s sustainable development and emphasizes the continuous advancement of financial literacy within society, which has a long-term impact.

“Yerevan State University values education not only as a means of transferring professional knowledge, but also as a process of shaping responsible and informed citizens in a modern society. Today, financial literacy is one of the essential components of a young person’s competitiveness, ability to make independent decisions, and long-term development. We are pleased that, through this cooperation, our students will have the opportunity to benefit from educational resources aligned with international standards and will be able to deepen their knowledge in the finance and investment culture,” said Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Rector of Yerevan State University.

“Education is at the core of our social responsibility. Armenia may not have abundant natural resources, but it does have talents. To ensure sustainable development and build a strong state, a strong education system is essential. In this regard, signing a cooperation agreement with Armenia’s leading university is highly symbolic. I am confident that by joining forces for the country’s sustainable development, we will create a long-term impact,” added Jean Mazedjyan, CEO of Amundi-Acba.

The parties are confident that this cooperation will contribute to strengthening financial literacy among university students.

The Amundi-Acba Academy offers online courses in financial management and investment strategies, designed both for beginners seeking to acquire fundamental knowledge in finance and for professionals aiming to deepen their expertise in the field. The courses are available in Armenian and have been localized from the French Amundi Academy. They have been developed by international experts from various institutions and comply with international best standards.

The Academy includes four learning tracks: Fundamental, Expert, CFA (based on Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) materials), and ESG. Students of Yerevan State University will have free access to these courses and the opportunity to participate in Academy's other programs.
