Batumi and Sevan routes commence, Gyumri-Yerevan train time changed

The South Caucasian Railway company is transitioning to summer season international and domestic passenger transport from mid-June. Changes have been made to both the summer routes to Sevan and Batumi, as well as the schedule of the popular Gyumri-Yerevan high-speed route:

Start of routes and schedule

Yerevan-Sevan-Shorja-Yerevan

From June 12 (Wed, Sat, Sun)

The seasonal electric train to Lake Sevan begins. Departure from Yerevan at 08:30, return from Shorja station at 17:00:

Gyumri-Yerevan high-speed (No. 101)

From June 12 (Every day)

For passenger convenience, the schedule is changing: the train will depart from Gyumri station at 19:40 (instead of 17:55):

Yerevan-Tbilisi-Batumi-Yerevan

From June 14 to October 1 (Daily)

International transport to the seaside resorts of Georgia will commence with the Armenia branded train:

Transport to Batumi will be carried out by the modern and comfortable Armenia branded train, whose carriages are specially adapted for long-distance routes:

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices of the main stations in Armenia and Georgia, as well as online. The company has implemented an updated online ticket purchasing system, which is currently operating in test mode, but is already available for booking tickets for the Armenia train:

The shift of the departure time of the Gyumri-Yerevan No. 101 high-speed train to a later evening hour (19:40) aims to give tourists and city guests more time to spend in Gyumri before returning to the capital:
