At the meeting of the Government of Armenia on October 8, a decision was made to allocate an additional 7.6 billion drams (over 21.1 million dollars) for the organization and conduct of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17):
Why this is important. The allocated funds will ensure the proper infrastructure and organizational services for the largest international environmental conference:

Source of funding. The funds are provided from the reserve fund of the Government of the RA:
Target direction. The money will be directed towards acquiring organizational services in the “Blue Zone” at the event venue:
