The Government of Armenia has adopted a decision that fully defines and clarifies the criteria for desired numbers for the registration of vehicles of individuals and legal entities.
The essence of regulation and new combinations According to the new decision, certain combinations that fall outside the main criteria for desired numbers will now be automatically classified as desired numbers. In particular, this refers to those options where one side (right or left) contains only “0”s, while the other side includes several Arabic numerals and repeating or different Latin letters.
Direction of financial resources According to the project's justification, additional financial resources generated from the sale of desired numbers will be directed towards the implementation of strategic programs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia (MIA).
In particular, these revenues will be aimed at developing the ministry's capabilities, technical rearmament, promoting digitalization processes, as well as activities aimed at increasing the efficiency of services provided and ensuring public safety.
