Simple Talks: A Fresh Take on Finance with AraratBank

AraratBank and the From Simple to Simple financial literacy podcast have launched Simple Talks, a new collaborative series intended to make financial topics easier to understand through practical examples and clear explanations of financial concepts and terminology.

Presented in a Q&A format, the podcast features engaging and insightful discussion. Garegin and Anita from AraratBank’s Marketing Team bring forward some of the most common questions asked by customers, while Ara Chalabyan, Finance Lecturer at the American University of Armenia and Member of the Board of AraratBank, provides clear and practical answers.

What may seem like complex financial questions at first glance are transformed into simple, practical, and easy-to-understand answers that anyone can relate to.

The debut episode of Simple Talks is dedicated to travel cards, addressing questions such as whether a travel card is worth having, what advantages it provides, and which practical recommendations can help travelers enjoy a smoother and more rewarding travel experience.

One of the additional benefits of the travel card is the insurance coverage it provides. AraratBank’s Mastercard World Travel card comes with a comprehensive travel insurance package, including worldwide medical coverage of up to EUR 30,000, compensation for flight delays and cancellations, lost or delayed baggage, loss of funds, legal expenses, assistance related to lost documents, and more. Cardholders and their guests can also enjoy 6 complimentary visits per year to more than 1,200 LoungeKey airport lounges worldwide, as well as 6 Fast Track services annualy.

Upcoming episodes of Simple Talks will cover fraud and financial scams, as well as the real estate-secured loans and transfer of mortgage loans to AraratBank.

Promoting financial literacy among the younger generation has always been a priority for AraratBank. To support this goal, the Bank has launched a range of educational initiatives, both through its own programs and in collaboration with partners.

AraratBank is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
