Green Rock Wins Five-Star Recognition at the International Property Awards for Its Multifunctional Complex in Dilijan

Green Rock’s Multifunctional Complex in Dilijan has received a Five-Star award in the Mixed Use Development category for Armenia at the International Property Awards 2026–2027. The award was presented to Katerina Danekina, CEO of Green Rock, on 22 October during the European Property Awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster London.

The Five-Star award represents the highest level of recognition at the country level. Only one Five-Star winner can be selected per country in each category. With this distinction, Green Rock’s Multifunctional Complex has been recognised as Armenia’s Five-Star winner in the Mixed Use Development category for the 2026–2027 awards cycle.

“It is a great honour for us to receive this award. It is an important acknowledgment of our team’s work and our vision for Dilijan’s long-term development. We believe that a city’s future is shaped not only by new infrastructure, but also by creating an environment where hospitality, culture, education and public life complement one another. Our goal is to help Dilijan develop into an attractive, vibrant city with year-round appeal, while preserving its identity and unique character,” said Katerina Danekina, CEO of Green Rock.

A Multifunctional Complex Creating New Opportunities for Dilijan

Green Rock’s Multifunctional Complex brings together accommodation, hospitality, cultural venues, education and public spaces across two districts of Dilijan. This integrated approach aims to encourage longer stays, expand the range of experiences available to visitors and support Dilijan’s development as an attractive destination throughout the year. It also combines new infrastructure with the adaptive reuse of historic buildings, preserving the distinctive character of the city’s neighborhoods.

This year, Cabinet Café & Restaurant, Villa3 Community Hub, PPLS Rooms co-living, the new building of Apicius Armenia hospitality school and CEMI Café have begun operating within the complex. In a short period of time, these spaces have become part of everyday life in Dilijan and its community, creating new opportunities for social interaction, education, work and leisure while actively contributing to the city’s social and cultural life.

The next components of the complex include Hyatt Regency Dilijan, Music Hall and Art Park. The official groundbreaking ceremony for the hotel took place on 25 July 2026. Planned to feature 205 guestrooms and suites, it will be the first Hyatt Regency hotel in Armenia.

Green Rock’s wider development plans for Dilijan are expected to create more than 800 jobs, expanding employment opportunities and contributing to the city’s economic development.
