Armenia Stock Exchange (AMX) has summarized the trading activity for August 2026. During the month, a dynamic trading environment has been maintained, highlighting growing investor confidence and market activity.
On the primary auction platform of AMX, the allocation volume of government bonds was more than 53․4 billion AMD. Meanwhile, 62 transactions were conducted on the secondary market, with a total volume of more than 21 billion AMD, which exceeds the figure for the same period of the previous year by 135%.
In the corporate bonds market, trading volume increased by 72% compared to the same period last year, reaching approximately 10.5 billion AMD. During the reporting period, 2085 transactions were concluded involving 221 corporate bonds listed on the exchange as of the end of August. This steady growth reflects healthy demand for corporate bonds.
The trade volume of equity reached more than 153.4 million AMD and the market capitalization more than 356.2 billion AMD. A total of 288 transactions were concluded with shares.
The volume of REPO agreements has been more than 22.8 billion AMD. A total of 199 repo transactions were conducted in August, exceeding the same period last year by 361%.
On the AMX FX platform, 4 transactions were executed with a total volume of approximately 277 million AMD. During the month, the exchange rate price ranged between 364.25 and 364․5 AMD.
